इनके पिता का नाम सांवरमल वर्मा है, जो कि एक IAS ऑफिसर हैं। 2019 में इनके पिता की पोस्टिंग राजस्थान के social justice and empowerment department में एक डायरेक्टर के रूप में थी।

  • कनिष्क कटारिया की बड़ी बहन का (kanishak’s Sister) नाम तन्मया है।
  • इनकी माँ का नाम ज्ञात नही है। हालांकि वो एक गृहणी हैं।
  • कनिष्क के ताऊ (Uncle) के.सी. वर्मा भी एक IAS ऑफिसर हैं, जो कि जयपुर में Divisional Commissioner हैं।

कनिष्क कटारिया की गर्लफ्रैंड का नाम सोनल चौहान है। फिलहाल वह भी UPSC की तैयारी कर रही हैं। हालांकि इसके पहले वह जॉब करती थी।

कनिष्क सोनल से बहुत प्यार करते हैं। अपनी इस सफलता का श्रेय उन्होंने अपने परिवार के साथ साथ सोनल को भी दिया था।

सोनल चौहान भी राजस्थान की जन्मी हैं। इन्होंने भी IIT बॉम्बे से Computer Science में B. Tech किया है।

  1. Tech पूरा होने के बाद सोनल जापान गई, जहाँ पर इन्होंने Rakuten Inc के साथ सॉफ्टवेयर डेवलपर के रूप में जुड़ गई।

2017 में इसी कंपनी में इनका Pramotion हुआ और

Product Manager बन गई। सोनल चौहान का नाम उस वक़्त सामने आया था, जब कनिष्क कटारिया ने टीवी शो अपनी Girlfriend को शुक्रिया बोला था।

कनिष्क कटारिया  ने अपनी प्रारंभिक शिक्षा St. Paul’s Sr. Sec. School कोटा, राजस्थान से 2003-2010 के दौरान किया।

इसके बाद IIT मुम्बई (Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay) से इन्होंने Computer Science में इंजीनियरिंग की। यह 2010-2014 में पूरी हुई।

IIT मुंबई से अपनी Graduation पूरी करने के बाद वह मई 2013 से जुलाई 2013 में माइक्रोसॉफ्ट में Software Developer के रूप में इंटर्न रहे।

इसके बाद उन्होंने जुलाई 2013 में IIT बॉम्बे Teaching Assistant के रूप में जॉइन कर लिया। यहाँ पर वो दिसंबर 2013 तक रहे।

यहाँ पर कनिष्क 6 माह तक रहे। इनका काम Lab Assignment को करवाना और उनका जाँचना था।

इसके अलावा वह Institute की प्लेसमेंट टीम के साथ भी काम करते थे।

दिसंबर 2013 से अप्रैल 2014 के दौरान 1300 स्टूडेंट्स की प्लसमेन्ट में मदद की।

फरवरी 2014 में इनका प्रमोशन हुआ और IIT बॉम्बे में ही Mathmatics Department में ही Teaching Assistant के रूप में काम करने लगे।

बाद में Software Engineer के तौर पर सुवन, ग्योंगगी-डो, कोरिया में Samsung Electronics में काम किया। यहाँ करीब 1 साल 6 माह तक काम किया।

लेकिन उनकी इच्छा देश मे ही काम करने की थी। इसलिए वह वापस आ गए, और बैंगलुरु के QPLUM में Data Scienctist के रूप में काम किया।

कनिष्क कटारिया की Achievements

कनिष्क कटारिया काफी मेहनती और मेधावी विद्यार्थी थे। 2009 में आयोजित हुए  नेशनल साइंस ओलंपियाड में 11th और  इंटरनॅशनल मैथमेटिक्स ओलंपियाड में 2nd रैंक पाई थी।

वही 2010 में आयोजित हुई IIT Exam में AIR-44 रैंक आई थी।

उसी वर्ष आयोजित हुई AIEEE में AIR-24 थी, जबकि State Rank-3 थी।

  • 2018 के UPSC टॉपर कनिष्क कटारिया ने 55.36% बनाए थे। UPSC का पूर्णांक 2025 था।
  • जिसमे से कनिष्क कटारिया ने 1121 अंक हासिल किए थे।

UPSC 2018 का पेपर कुल 2025 नंबर का था। जिसमे से लिखित पेपर कुल 1750 नंबर का था।

लिखित पेपर 7 थे। सभी पेपर 250 नंबर के थे।  वहीं personality Test 275 नंबर का था।

Essay Paper में इनके 133 नंबर, General Studies Paper 1 में 98 नंबर, General Studies Paper 2 में 117 नंबर, General Studies Paper 3 में 117 नंबर और General Studies Paper 4 में 116 नंबर आए थे।

ऑप्शनल 1( गणित) में 170 नंबर और ऑप्शनल 2 ( गणित) में 191 नंबर आए थे। ये सभी पेपर 250-250 नंबर के थे।

इस तरह लिखित पेपर में 1750 में से 942 नंबर आए।

पर्सनालिटी टेस्ट जो कि 275 मार्क्स का होता है उसमें 179 marks आए।

  • जब कनिष्क का UPSC Exam क्लियर हुआ था, तब उन्होंने कहा था कि उन्हें पहली रैंक लाने की बिलकुल भी उम्मीद नही थी,
  • क्योंकि उन्होंने सीधे Mains की तैयारी की थी।
  • इसके पीछे एक वजह यह भी थी कि यह उनका पहला Attempt था।
  • इसके पहले इन्होने कभी भी UPSC का Exam नही दिया था।
  • UPSC का Exam देश का सबसे कठिन एग्जाम माना जाता है।
  • हालांकि इसमें पास होने के लिए ज्यादा नंबर लाने की जरूरत नही होती है,लेकिन फिर भी इसका Slybuss इतना विस्तृत है
  • कि इसमें 50% लाना भी कई Students के लिए मुश्किल हो जाता है।

दिल्ली में 7-8 माह की तैयारी की है।

उन्होंने आगे बताया कि वो Civil Services Exam के बारे में ज्यादा नही जानते थे।

इसलिए Basics को जानने और समझने के लिए 7 माह की Coaching की।

Here are the top ten most destructive viruses unleashed over the last decade into the digital domain.

1. Storm Worm

Storm Worm was released in 2007 anc was rumoured to have hailed from Russia. It came in the form of an email link, usually with an important headline to grab the victim’s attention. When the victim clicks the link the code is inserted and payload with a backdoor into the system is opened. It infected over 10 million computers worldwide.

2. Conficker

Conficker was a 2008 worm that infected an estimated 15 million Windows computers worldwide. The French Navy, UK Ministry of Defence, hospitals and local police forces were affected. It was spread via Facebook, Skype and mail services, and infected networked computers with a key logger that the hacker could use to record your keyboard strokes

3. Daprosy Worm

2009 saw the release of ihe Daprosy Worm whereby an estimated 20 million computers were infected with a key logger. What made this such a dangerous virus was that it remained active in Windows safe Mod  ? so it was very difficult to r emove.

4. Stuxnet

Stuxnet was rumoured to have been a US Intelligence created virus that was designed to Infect Iranian nuclear power plants, thus stopping them from potentially creating weapons grade material Whether you believe that or not, it was one  the worst viruses to appear in moden times.

5. Duqu

Duqu was released in 2011 and shared many characteristics with Stuxnct. However Duqu had different roles: it would work as a key logger, to steal digital certificates, gather information about an infected PC, or completely wipe the contents of any connected hard drives. Interestingly, parts of the Duqu code were written in an unknown high level programming language.

6. Shamoon

Shamoon was discovered in 2012 and developed to infect the Windows kernel, the core code of [he operating system. It successfully managed to wipe the contents of millions of hard drives and was rumoured to be used in cyber espionage in the energy industry,

7. CryptoLocker

CryptoLocker is a ransomware infection that first appeared in 2015, As with most ransomware code it locks and encrypts your entire hard drive and offers to unlock them if the victim pays up to $300. Remarkably, the code
was able to delete itself whilst still keeping the files encrypted and locked.

8. CryptoLocker

2014 Regin virus was spread via fake websites and infected tens of millions of computers. Rumour has it that it was a joint US and UK Intelligence created virus for global digital surveillance but well leave chat for the conspiracy theorists to argue over. Nevertheless, it managed to send information of the victims computer back to an unknown location.

9. Rombertik’s Endless Loop

Rombertik’s Endless Loop is an interesting, if somewhat deadly, virus to have sprung up in 2015. When infected, the virus wiII alter and delete key boot files for Windows computers then force them to reboot. With the boot files, missing or altered the Windows PC will cant nuatly boot and reboot itself until you re- nstall the OS.

10. Tiny Banker

Tiny Banker is an information and packet sniffer virus that will record and onIine banking detaiIs the victim enters in their computer. That information is then sort back to several servers which the hackers can then use to access your bank accounts. It’s estimated that hundreds of millions were stolen in 2016 thanks toTiny Banker.

Entering the Old City from 1 New Gate, turn right inside the city wall into 2 Bapu Bazaar. Brightly coloured bolts of fabric, jootis (traditional shoes) and aromatic perfumes make the street a favourite for Jaipur’s women. At the end of Bapu Bazaar you’ll come to  3 Sanganeri Gate. Turn left into 4 Johari Bazaar, the jewellery market, where you will find jewellers, goldsmiths and also artisans doing highly glazed meenakari (enamelling), a speciality of Jaipur.

Continuing north, walk past 5 Jama Masjid, with its tall minarets, then duck through an archway (between Nos 145 and 146) that leads into a bustling half-covered alleyway, sparkling with the sequined shawls and saris. Turn right at the end for more colourful 6 sari stalls. Return the way you came, turning left to reach 7 Badi Chaupar. Take a quick look at the spectacular 8 Hawa Mahal  before walking west along 9 Tripolia Bazaar, leading to 10 Tripolia Gate. This is the main entrance to 11 Jantar Mantar  and the 12 City Palace  but only the maharaja’s family may enter here. The public entrance is via the less-ostentatious Atishpol (Stable Gate), a little further along.

Further west is  13 Iswari Minar Swarga Sal, which is well worth climbing for the city views (enter from the back). Cross the road here and duck into 14 Maniharonka Rasta (between Nos 349 and 350), an alleyway specialising in colourful lac (resin) bangles.

Walking south, clothes and crockery stores appear as the lane becomes less touristy.  Look out for the green-painted, but rundown 14 Maniharonka Rasta opposite shop No 1129, before turning right through a narrow tunnel, and eventually popping out onto Kishanpol Bazaar. Turn left and walk past a collection of small gkite shops before ending your tour with a well-earned break at the simple but charming hIndian Coffee House (p117), just outside the Old City walls

Rajasthan History

Jaipur is named after its founder, the great warrior-astronomer Jai Singh II (1688–1744), who came to power at age 11 after the death of his father, Maharaja Bishan Singh. Jai Singh could trace his lineage back to the Rajput clan of Kachhwahas, who consolidated their power in the 12th century. Their capital was at Amber (pronounced amer), about 11km northeast of present-day Jaipur, where they built the impressive Amber Fort. The kingdom grew wealthier and wealthier, and this, plus the need to accommodate the burgeoning population and a paucity of water at the old capital at Amber, prompted the maharaja in 1727 to commence work on a new city – Jaipur. Northern India’s first planned city, it was a collaborative effort using his vision and the impressive expertise of his chief architect, Vidyadhar Bhattacharya. Jai Singh’s grounding in the sciences is reflected in the precise symmetry of the new city. In 1876 Maharaja Ram Singh had the entire Old City painted pink (traditionally the colour of hospitality) to welcome the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII). Today all residents of the Old City are compelled by law to preserve the pink facade.

BMW 4 Series Breaks Free

The next-generation BMW 4 Series has broken cover and it packs a striking new design language, that strikes differently to some from the front and looks a lot sportier from the side while widening the rear profile. It’s designed to be sportier than ever and be a proper sports coupé from the outset with a focus squarely on delivering dynamic driving pleasure and a clear differentiation from the new 3 Series. In its previous generation, it was a proper two-door 3 Series with the “3” actually having four doors.

It replaced the 3 Series Coupé model. A four-door 4 Series Gran Coupé arrived later, but never mind… the new 4 Series Coupé has a sharper character with a specifically optimized structure and chassis technology to ensure maximum dynamic performance.

A bespoke package of bracing elements increases rigidity, while the centre of gravity is 21 millimetres lower and the rear-axle track 23 mm wider than the 3 Series’. The weight has been minimized and features a 50:50 weight distribution. BMW targeted optimized aerodynamics and lift reduction at the rear axle.

in terms of equipment, dampers with bespoke tuning are standard. Options? M Sport suspension with an even firmer set-up for dampers, mounts, and anti-roll bars, plus additional body struts and variable sport steering.

Further options include adaptive M suspension with electronically controlled dampers, M Sport brakes, and an M Sport differential with a fully variable locking rear differential.

inside, it is a driver-focused cockpit with a 10.25-inch Control Display or optional 12.3- inch cluster. A sports steering wheel and sports seats are standard.

Acoustic and thermal comfort are enhanced with a windscreen that uses acoustic glass and standard three-zone automatic climate control. The glass roof’s transparent surface is extended by 24 mm. There’s ambient lighting with Welcome Light Carpet, a Harman Kardon surround-sound system, and an optional BMW Display Key.

A slew of driver assistance systems are onboard, including collision warning with brake input, optional Driving assistant Professional, active navigation with cloudbased Maps, and a 70 per cent larger new BMW Head-Up Display. BMW Operating System 7 enables individual and personalised screens plus use of the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant.

BMW 48-volt mild-hybrid technology is now on all their four- and six-cylinder engines, sharpening response and optimizing efficiency.

The integrated startergenerator (iSg) assists the engines with an extra 8.0 kW or 11 hp. In addition, all diesel engines now have two-stage turbocharging. all variants of the new 4 have a standard eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission, with the option of a Steptronic Sport transmission with new Sprint function that allows for instantaneous and dynamic acceleration manoeuvres.

The BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system is available for two model variants from launch and will also be seen on four more variants from March 2021.
